Good compilation of talks by Mormon women during the last century and half.
Loved this book and plan to use it at church
Enjoyed reading church history of Relief Society Sisters & their growth.
If you are a women who is a member of the LDS church you NEED to read this. I promise that you won't regret it and it will change your life and you will be able to find so many amazing quotes from your fellow sisters to use in talks and lessons!
Good book. Good read of some of the known as well as unknown women of the Church.
It makes one realize that the women were equally well suited to study and learning of scriptures, teachings and doctrines of the restoration.
There testimonies are inspirational and enlarging to the mind as one reads their sermons and lectures.
It started off slow for me, and I'm still not finished, but the further into the talks I get the more I'm enjoying it. So much inspiration for these wonderful women! Eliza R Snow is amazing!
I was quite pleased with my purchase. At first I was not sure about the content but the book cover drew my attention. The ad for the book was good so I bought it. I found the history of these women to be of great value as it informed me on their perspective over the historical time period of the Relief Society. As I read each of the discourses, I felt enriched by their messages. These were strong women, educated, articulate, and inspired to move the work of the Relief Society forward in each of their respective eras. I highly recommend this book.
